It's the year 2005 #pastfuturetechnology.

Toshiba releases the 803T exclusively through Vodafone in Japan, and also outside of Japan as the TS803.

Whilst the features aren't considered high-end (8-Series devices are considered mid-tier), the design and user experience of this phone position it perfectly with the multimedia savvy consumer. In the camera department we have a 2Mpx snapper with LED flash, MiniSD memory support and a decently sized 2.2" TFT QVGA LCD.

Apart from its looks, it is a pretty decent handset when looking at specs alone – but as was often the case in 2005 – DRM content restrictions mean that uploading songs to the device becomes a tedious task and requires proprietary software.

I've had zero luck in finding a copy of Toshiba's "beat engine" so I've not been able to listen to the very thing that this phone is known for – music.
